G0FBB The Windmill Contest GroupThe windmill contest group have been competing in HF (SSB & CW), VHF field days, and the Marconi 144MHz CW contest since 1987. The galleries in this section contain photographs from some of these events.

Tamron 17-50 F2.8 Lens test

These shots were taken with my new Tamron SP AF 17-50mm F/2.8 XR lens. I have problems getting it to focus correctly with my EOS300D, more often than not it back focuses slightly.

Canon 75-300 Vs. New 70-300IS

These are a few A vs B shots with my 75-300mm lens compared against the new 70-300mm IS lens. The new 70-300IS wins hands down - just like all of the reviews say!
